Kanna is the first offspring of Naraku (eventhoug she appears after Kagura in the series). She has no presence, no scent, no jaki(evil energy). All in all nothing that will allow InuYasha and his company to notice her arrival. She seems to be the closest Naraku and the most loyal, she often shows him events that are happening, throug her mirror. She is with him most of the time, and does anything he asks of her without questions or hesitation. She is also very quiet and shows little or none emotions.
The first time we see her, she is working together with Kagura in order to steal Kagomes soul. Kagura has lured away InuYasha and Miroku into a battle with the soulles villagers, while a controlled Kohaku leads Kagome and Sango towards Kanna.
Kannas mirror has the ability to steal and store the souls of those who look in it, as well as the ability to return one`s own attack back at them.
Sango knocks herself out attacking Kanna with Hiraikotsu, and getting it reppeled back. But Kagome`s soul is too big to fit it all in the mirror. With what soul she has left, Kagome tries to make it to InuYasha in time to warn him about Kannas mirror, but by the time she gets to him, he as already used Tetsusaigas Kaze no Kizu and is badly injured.
It ends with Kanna having to let all the souls free, and they all escape.
Name: Kagura
Age: Less then 1 year (appears 17)
Status: Wind demon , Narakus detachment
Kagura is the second offspring of Naraku, but the first one the InuYasha gang comes in contact with. She can control the winds with a fan using her Fuuijn no Mai (Dance of the Blades) and Ryuuja no Mai (Dance of the Dragon) this gives InuYasha a hard time using his Kaze no Kizu.
The first time we see her, she has slain Kouga`s wolf tribe members. She uses her Shikabane Mai(Dance of the dead) to mobilize them and make them fight Inuyasha. This is a trick from her side to make InuYasha covered in theire blood before Kouga arrives.
Kouga is tricked by this and swears to avenge his comrades` deaths by killing InuYasha. When he realizes that it is Kagura who killed them, he swears to kill both her and Naraku.
Naraku has tight hold on Kagura for one reason, he holds her hear in his hands. Otherwise she would have betrayed and left him long ago. She despises the fact that she is not free, that she is basically a slave, born to take commands from Naraku. She is very unlike her ``sister`` Kanna and her other ``siblings``. She secretly tries to find a way to get rid of Naraku, so she can get her heart back. She has even gone so far as to try to enlist Shesshoumaru to kill Naraku. She also learned InuYashas only weakness as a half-demon, but kept it to herself. When Hakudoushi was cut in two, Kagura took the larger half that became a new and much older Kakudoushi, whom Naraku ordered to obey...
Name: Goshinki
Age: Less then 1 year
Goshinki is the third offspring of Naraku. Though at first he appears to be nothing but a monster who kills everything in his path, it it soon discovered that he has the ability to read the minds of his opponents. This makes it almost impossible for InuYasha to fight him. When he tries to use Tetsusaiga, Goshinki bites it in half, shocking everyone. Then when Goshinki all but kills InuYasha, InuYashas Youkai blood takes over and he transforms into his demon form for the first time.
When this happens Goshinki knows that he is doomed, because he does not stand a chance against an opponent that does not plan his attack, but just attacks out of shear pleasure.
Later, after InuYasha has destroyed him, Shesshoumaru shows up at the scene and takes Goshinkis head with him, he uses Tenseiga to get life back in to it and then assigns Kaijinbou to make a sword for him, from Goshinkis fangs. The resulting sword is called Toukijin.
Name: Juuroumaru
Juuroumaru is the fourth offspring of Naraku. Naraku unleashes Juuroumaru on Kouga while his mouth is still covered and his hands and feet are still chained. Even so, he is just as fast as Kouga.
Sensing an even greater evil coming from behind Juuroumarus mask, Kouga flees as fast as he can, passing InuYasha and company on the way. The InuYasha gang is then left to fight Juuroumaru on their own. This is when Naraku shows up and unmasks and unchains Juuroumaru, letting loose Kageroumaru.
Name: Kageroumaru
Age: Less than 1 year
Kageroumaru is the fifth offspring of Naraku. When he is unleashed from behind Juuroumarus mask, the first thing he does is ``kill`` Narakus kuyutsu(fake self, Kuyutsu doll). Kageroumaru looks like a little insect and is lightening quick, with the ability to go underground. He lives inside of Juuroumaru and tells him what to do. Juuroumaru obeys only Kageroumaru, and not Naraku.
Kouga comes back to rescue Kagome when Ginta & Hakkaku `reminds` him that Kagome is with InuYasha (whom he left to deal with Kageroumaru); and he gets there just in time,too, because Kagome was about to be killed by Kageroumaru, and InuYasha was to far away to save her in time.
InuYasha and Kouga then actually kind of cooperats, while slinging inults back and forth as they battle Juuroumaru & Kageroumaru.
InuYasha is injured pretty badly and Kougas legs have taken some major damage by the time Sango comes up with the idea of using Mirokus Shakujou(staff) and some of her poison to get Kageroumaru out from below ground.
When Kageroumaru comes out, he returns to Juuroumaru(though no one knows it) and Kouga attacks Juuroumaru, thinking Kageroumaru is dead. InuYasha figures out what happened and uses Kaze no Kizu on both of them just as Kouga is beeing attacked. Kouga wasn`t too happy about almost being killed and is not too reassured when Kagome tells him that InuYasha only attacked because he knows he can move fast.
Name: Musou
Musou is the sixth offspring of Naraku. Musou is actually Narakus first attempt at casting Onigumo`s heart out of himself.
Musou is born without a face, so he begings to kill people in order to find a face that looks like his old one (Onigumos) He dosen`t remember who he is at first, but upon seeing Kagome he remembers that he ``wanted this girl``, thinking she is Kikiyou. By the time that Naraku absorbs him back into his body, Musou remembers everything, and sincerely seems to be in love with Kikiyou. Though he is still a horrible person who slaughters everyone he wants to without caring.
Name: Akago Hakudoushi
Akago Hakudoushi is the seventh offspring of Naraku. He makes his apperance after Narakus recovery at Mt.Hakurei. Supposedly he is the heart of Onigumo, seeing that Naraku is now able to kill Kikiyou.
Akago Hakudoushi makes his way around killing priests in order to ``see into their hearts`` as they lay dying. At one point,he almost manages to control Kagome, tricking her into believing that she is a bad person for not liking Kikiyou because InuYasha still cared for her. But Kagome wins, telling him that that makes her human.
Later Akago Hakudoushi is sliced in two by Shinsen Oushou-sama, who lay dying as he is trying to read his heart.One half of Akago Hakudoushi forms into Hakudoushi. We do not know what happened to the other half yet.
Name: Hakudoushi
Hakudoushi is the offspring of Naraku who was born from one half of Akago Hakudoushi who was split in two by Shinsen Oshou-sama. We do not yet know what happened to the other half, but Hakudoushi appears to be extremely strong and powerful. Sometimes he is like Naraku, sending others to do his dirty work, though(mostly Kagura). He teams up with the Uma Youkai, Enteri, and together, with Kagura, they look for the barrier between this world and the next.
