Shippou is very young and therefore isn`t very strong. His father, who was killed for his pelt by Hiten and Manten (The Thunder Brothers), was the last family Shippou had left. He tags along with the InuYasha gang after Kagome and Inuyasha avenged his father's death. Though he and Inuyasha do not get along at all, Shippou wants Kagome to be happy, and tries to encourage Inuyasha's feelings for Kagome.
Since Kitsune magic is to trick and confuse others, and hardly has any attack power, Shippou isn`t really there to fight. He is more like a kawaii(cute] little comic relief for the gang ^__^ He has a tendecie to say the wrong thing at the wrong times to InuYasha and often gets ``beaten up`` for this. xD He often hides in fear when InuYasha gets angry or when they are to fight great demons, but when the going gets thoug and his friends are in danger, he is really realiable ^__^.
Personality: Also hot-tempered, but with the innocent mind of a child, Shippou likes to help out whenever possible (since his fighting abilities aren't too much help, being that he's so young). He's very observant of other people's feelings, even if, like a kid, he blurts things out a bit too much.
Skills: He can become a floating pink balloon that he uses to help transport the gang around(at short distances since he cant hold his form to long), he can leave trails of Naki Kinoko [Weeping Mushrooms] in case someone needs to follow him, and he can also change his appearance (the transformations aren't always complete and he can only hold them for a few moments). His attacks include magical illusions: Tsubushi Goma [Smashing Top], Bunshin [Divide], and Kitsune Bit[Fox Fire]. Some of his "ingredients" include: Ofuda [charm], Ojizousan no Moto [Element of Ojizou-san: an enlightened person who looks over children, travelers, and the Underworld], Ganguma [toy horse], Ganguhebi [toy snake], Goma [top], Happa [leaf], Kinoko [mushrooms], and dosogeri [Acorns].
And some times he tend to use his theeth as well. ;)
