Story - How it began
Fifty years ago in the feudal era a priestess by the name of Kikyo protected a sacred jewel called The Jewel of Four Souls. It was said that it could fulfill the wish of any demon or half demon. Inuyasha a half demon wanted the jewel to become full demon. In his pursuit to get the Shikon Jewel he was hit with a arrow by the priestess Kikyo. Kikyo soon died after words telling her younger sister Kaede to burn her remains with the Sacred Shikon Jewel so that no other demon could take the sacred jewel. There stuck to a tree Inuyasha was trapped for fifty years.

In the modern era it was Kagome Higurashi's birthday. She was a normal school girl, just getting threw High School. Until that one day of her fifteenth birthday she got pulled into a well by a centipede demon.

When on the other side of the well she finds herself in the feudal era. She sees the familiar sacred tree and runs to it only to find a boy sealed to it by a arrow. She awakens Inuyasha and she soon finds out that she has the Shikon jewel inside of her. She then finds out she is the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo.

By Faith the jewel shatters and Kagome and Inuyasha are forced to work together and find all the shards to the Jewel before other demons find them and become more powerful. Or even worse someone manages collects all the jewel shards.

Soon Kikyo the priestess is brought back to life feeding off the souls of young maidens. She seeks Inuyasha to kill to revenge her death. After a while Inuyasha and Kagome gain three new allies that decides to travel together. First Shippou the little Kitsune Youkai [Fox Demon], then Miroku the perverted but still quite grown up and smart priest, and last but not least the young proffesional demon exterminator Sango.

They travell the country to find the Shikon Shards and to defeat Naraku, the reason for every one of theire biggest missories or sorrows.

They make a great team ^___^
